I watched a kiddo reality show called little entrepreneurs awhile ago. From this I could really see how Singapore's stressful study-or-die system has gotten into them, even at this young age of 11.

When asked what they wanted to be, three of the five said doctor, one said a lawyer and another an actress. I was wondering, people, please have a little more sense, why would you ever ever ever want to be a doctor when you are only in primary five and need to study for 201 years, when you are done with your doctor course you have to cut up people.

I think that we should not put the blame on the children on being money minded or fame seeking. They are still young and do not realize that it is not as easy as said to be an actress, doctor or a lawyer. Being an actress is a dream and in Singapore, the rule here is no dreams allowed.

Being a doctor or a lawyer is an ambition for most kids who have been psyched by their parents or the society to be. Since young, even my parents have been going, when you grow up, must become doctor or lawyer can make money. I used to go oh, okay and thought, oh shit, my future is going to be full of blood and white wigs.

Contradictorily, some children who have enough sense want to be a doctor not because they are seeking money but only because they want to save people and do not mind putting themselves under 201 years of studying and blood. That is something that I truly admire - Self sacrifice.

I feel that Singapore's education system should take a turn for the better. Allow the students to have their own creative field, not study study study or die. Like us in sota, someone ever mentioned to a teacher that she wanted to be an artiste so that she can become someone famous and live in a big house. In other schools, the teachers would probably go, oh good, you have a life goal. however, instead of being praised, she got reprimanded. Being an artiste is not about fame and fortune, but instead, about doing what you love and bringing happiness to people.

Singapore sucks.

Truly.

However all I am typing now makes no change, as the people who think alike me are only the minority, maybe not ever 1% of the world.

As I always say, great minds think alike.

Now what I am going to do is type a short little paragraph of words to sum up my thirteen years of life since 17|11|1995 I am not very fond of letting you know things that aren't really. Like telling you my favourite drink. And little tits and tats of my lifethat really, you don't need to know unless you are some kind of long lost relative that just came back from a 200-year hiatus in Timbaktu. Therefore here goes the little summary. Did I mention that I suck at summary writing? This blob of words here is longer than the summary itself. Let me tell a little story before something else happens.

There was a hero called Marqie, a formal ~~female~~/male convict of ATS*, but was transferred to sota*, school of the arts Singapore, cell number R5'07, G5'07 due to unexpected talent in visual arts. So here's how Marqie landed in prison. Marqie was captured by the Japanese kempetei for being the heroic leader of a anti-Japanese rebellion party with beer, sausagecocktails and chicken wings, and was kept as a POW since then. Though many attempts were made to escape, Marqie failed time and time again due to unforseen circumstances. Marqie, over the years has grown wrinkly and smelly. Now Marqie is accustomed to the current jail life and calls it 'heaven'. Marqie has thus given up his dreams after being closed in a cell with 2cm of light shining in during daytime and being as free as a bird in a cage. Somehow Marqie gets acess to the internet or so they call this amazing thing that connects you to the world. Posts that depict how one go about their daily normal life and every single detail that i don't really want to know aggravates my killing instincts and brings bloodshed and tears to all.
